Campkitchen

Those who have paid the camping fee have access to a kitchen building on the east side of the parking area, next to the hammock and tent area. Here you will find electric hotplates for cooking and washing dishes. There is drinkable cold water available, as well as hot water for washing dishes.

Campfire hut, Petkeljärvi Nationalpark

Behind the main building of the hiking center, right near the children's playground, you will find a small log cabin, inside which there is a campfire site. Wind and rain don't matter, because there are walls around and a roof on top. The campfire hut is the only campfire site allowed during a wildfire warning. During a wildfire warning, the campfire hut is open to everyone, including those on a day trip. Otherwise, use is included in the camping fee or other paid accommodation. The hut can also be booked for a separate fee for a private event.
